Coquitlam-Burke Mountain and Vancouver-Mount Pleasant By-elections Advance Voting Begins Tomorrow

COQUITLAM-BURKE MOUNTAIN AND VANCOUVER-MOUNT PLEASANT
BY-ELECTIONS ADVANCE VOTING BEGINS TOMORROW

VICTORIA – Advance voting for the Coquitlam-Burke Mountain and Vancouver-Mount Pleasant by-elections takes place Saturday and Sunday, January 23 and 24, and Wednesday, January 27 to Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. All advance voting locations are wheelchair accessible.

The advance voting locations and dates for Coquitlam-Burke Mountain are as follows:

The district electoral office in Vancouver-Mount Pleasant is located at:

Hours of operation: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays

A Vote by Mail package is available at the district electoral office or through the Elections BC website at elections.bc.ca.

Voters may register or update their voter information when they vote. Identification showing name and home address must be shown before voting or registering when voting. The types of identification that can be used are detailed on the Elections BC website at elections.bc.ca/index.php/voting/voter-identification/.

General Voting Day for the by-elections is Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.  General voting locations are available on the Elections BC website (elections.bc.ca.) or by calling 1-800-661-8683.
